ParityDeals, operated by Kelviq, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our services and website. 1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • User Information: Basic details such as name and email address for authentication and account management purposes.
  • Sales Data: Information provided by users about their sales for analytics and performance insights.
  • IP Address Detection: When our API is called, we detect IP addresses from request headers to determine approximate location for geographical pricing. We retain IP addresses and timestamps to count unique visitors for merchant reports, without associating those records with names, email addresses, or user accounts.

We also maintain operational and security logs to support our services. These logs do not contain visitor IP addresses.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used for:

  • Providing and improving our services.
  • Authenticating users and managing accounts.
  • Providing geographical pricing and visitor reporting.
  • Generating analytics to help users understand sales performance.
  • Supporting customers and maintaining the security of our services.

When processing visitor information on a merchant’s behalf, we follow that merchant’s documented instructions. Merchants can email us to disable unique-visitor counting for their integration. This does not disable location detection for geographical pricing.

3. Data Sharing

We value your privacy. Payments are processed directly through providers such as Stripe, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Whop, Polar, Paddle, and Dodo Payments. ParityDeals does not provide user data to these payment providers.

We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting and Google Analytics for website analytics, as described in this policy.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use Google Analytics on our website to understand website activity and improve the website experience. This is separate from visitor reporting for merchant integrations. Contact us for information about website analytics and available privacy choices.

5. Data Security

We store data on servers hosted by AWS and use security measures designed to protect it against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. These include encrypted connections, multi-factor authentication for AWS administrative access, restricted production access, AWS WAF protection, and authorization and tenant-isolation controls.

6. Data Retention

We retain business-account information while your account is active, subject to applicable deletion requests and legal requirements. Visitor-counting records (IP addresses and timestamps) are automatically deleted 13 months after they are collected, or earlier if the merchant requests deletion of their account or of those records. Operational and security logs are retained for 90 days.

To request deletion of your account or associated information, or ask about retention for a particular type of record, email hi@paritydeals.com. We delete relevant database records promptly following an authorized request. Applicable backup handling and any legal retention requirements are addressed as part of the request. We handle access and restriction requests separately from deletion requests.

7. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to restrict or object to its processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. You may also raise a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

You can exercise these rights by emailing hi@paritydeals.com. We may need to verify your identity or authority. Where we process information on a merchant’s behalf, we coordinate with that merchant to handle the request.

8. Children’s Privacy

ParityDeals is intended for business customers and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. International Data Transfers

Our servers are hosted by AWS in the United States, so information may be processed outside your country of residence. Contact us for details about processing locations and the transfer arrangements applicable to your service.

10. Data Processing Agreement

For customers that require a Data Processing Agreement, our DPA review draft is available. Contact us to complete the applicable details and arrange execution.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date on this page and provide additional notice where required by law.
