If you’ve been a ParityDeals user, first of all, thank you. Genuinely. You stuck with us early, gave us feedback, and helped shape what we built.

Today we’re announcing something we’ve been working on for a while. Its called Kelviq, and it started as a direct response to problems we kept seeing while helping ParityDeals customers set up their pricing.

Why we built a SaaS billing platform

ParityDeals was built to do one thing well: help you offer fair, localised pricing to users around the world, with fraud and VPN protection built in. It still does that, and it’s not going anywhere. More on that in a moment.

But over five years of talking to founders, we kept hearing the same frustrations. Not about price localization. About subscription billing.

Stripe was painful to set up for usage-based models. Feature access had to be hardcoded. Subscription state had to be maintained in a separate database. For a simple change like moving a feature between plans, people had to filing a ticket, waiting on engineering to complete the changes, and deploying the changes to production. Overrides, grandfathering, usage limits, migrations, all of it was messy and fragile.

And with AI products growing so fast, bad billing stopped being just an inconvenience. If you’re not metering usage correctly, you’re losing real money while your infra provider charges you anyways. Most existing tools like Stripe require you to build all of this yourself. We wanted a proper alternative.

ParityDeals kept surfacing this problem but it wasn’t designed to solve it. So we built something that was.

What Kelviq does

Kelviq is a full Merchant of Record platform (MoR) for SaaS, AI, and digital products.

As your Merchant of Record, we handle global tax, VAT, GST, fraud, and compliance. You can sell in 100+ countries without registering for a foreign tax ID.

Beyond that, Kelviq is built around one idea. Billing should not be deeply coupled to your app. You should not have to manage dozens of webhooks, maintain a shadow database for subscription state, or scatter feature logic across your codebase.

With Kelviq you can:

  • Launch flat-rate, seat-based, usage-based, credit-based, volume, tiered, or hybrid pricing
  • Meter usage in real time
  • Control feature access from your app with a simple SDK call
  • Manage upgrades, downgrades, grandfathering, and custom overrides from a dashboard
  • Update plans and entitlements without redeploying
  • Localize pricing across 135+ countries and currencies
  • Sell digital products like e-books, software, or courses with secure file delivery and automatic license key generation
  • A/B test pricing and plans, and roll out changes without waiting on a deploy

It’s built for developers who don’t want to spend weeks on webhook plumbing, product managers who want to own pricing decisions without filing engineering tickets, founders who need to sell globally from day one, and digital creators who just want to sell thier stuff without dealing with tax and compliance headaches.

Migrating from ParityDeals to Kelviq

A few things we want to be clear about.

ParityDeals is not going anywhere. We’ll continue to actively maintain and improve it alongside Kelviq. If ParityDeals works well for you today, nothing changes.

Every ParityDeals feature is included in Kelviq for free. This includes VPN and proxy protection, purchasing power parity pricing, and additional settings like restricting coupons by country. You don’t lose anything by moving over.

Kelviq also includes options that weren’t possible with ParityDeals. For example, you can now restrict coupon codes by country directly at checkout. So you don’t have to worry about customers usging a coupon of a country from another.

Existing ParityDeals users get a 3.5% transaction fee on Kelviq. This is our way of rewarding the people who have been with us from the start.

We’ll help you migrate and get set up, for free. No need to figure it out on your own. We’ll work through it with you directly.

If you want to talk to us before doing anything, book a call. We’re offering calls with the founders for existing ParityDeals customers. You can book a call with us and we will walk you through the product ourselves. No sales pitch, just an honest conversation about whether Kelviq makes sense for your setup.

Kelviq is the next chapter for us, but it is built directly from everything ParityDeals taught us.

Why we think this is ready

We did not build Kelviq in a vacuum. Five years in this space, close partnerships with payment providers, and hundreds of conversations with founders gave us a very clear picture of what needed to exist. The beta has been live for a few weeks now, and some of you have already made the switch. It is already being used in production, it is stable, and it is as feature-rich as anything else out there. We know this space well, and we built this to last.

ParityDeals helped you localise prices. Kelviq is what we’re building to take care of the rest.

If you have questions, thoughts, or just want to tell us what we’re getting wrong, reach out at hi@kelviq.com. We read every message.
